After that, the proportion decreases from year to year – among the 65-year-olds it was still seven percent.

In order to stop the growing poverty in old age, the basic pension must be paid out quickly and unbureaucratically – without an asset check, demanded Muscheid. Between 58,000 and 89,000 retirees could benefit from the basic pension. The Riester pension, on the other hand, should be abolished and the subsidies for the pay-as-you-go pension or the company pension benefit. The minimum wage must be increased to twelve euros and 450 euro jobs abolished. The state is also responsible for strengthening the collective bargaining agreement, for example by the fact that municipalities only award their contracts to companies that pay people according to the collective bargaining agreement. Only about 40 percent of the companies in the country pay according to the tariff.

"Scandalous" Muscheid criticized the handling of people who could no longer work due to their physical or psychological impairment. "Over 74 percent of women and more than 61 percent of men with disability pensions are at risk of poverty." The DGB regional chief named the increase in mental illnesses that led to retirement from working life "worrying". At 43 percent, they are now the main diagnosis – in 2006 the proportion was just over 30 percent. More than 22,000 men and women received basic income support in the event of reduced earning capacity due to their premature retirement.

German songwriters feel the same way with the label "A new Rio Reiser". And yet one can mention this political rock pioneer (Ton Steine Scherben), who died in 1996, when it comes to Max prose.

The 30-year-old is putting on his seventh album "Greetings from the flood" before that beneficial to the "King of Germany" (Title of a Reiser solo hit from 1986).

The singer, who was born in Berlin as Max Podeschwig, had already made his successful debut "The imagination will win" (2012) and "Rangoon" (2013) established in the first row of German-speaking song poets. Last year played on the strongest prose album yet "With different eyes" surprisingly guitarist Ralph Peter Steitz with – better known as R.P.S. Lanrue and co-founder of the 50 years ago "shards". The youngster is friends with Misha Schoeneberg, who also once worked for Ton Steine Scherben and also worked for the solo artist Rio Reiser.https://123helpme.me/argumentative-essay-topics/

But the appreciative comparisons are not exhausted with such scene relationships. "Greetings from the flood" is an album that lets prose shine above all as a ballad singer in the Reiser tradition, for example in the slightly apocalyptic piano pop song "Clap of thunder". With the (compared to the angry "shards") mild but effective political piece "Colorful paper" sings that "Turning child" (Year of birth 1989) against the power of big money. The left-wing alternative-green German pop activist Rio Reiser would definitely find it good.

The Dylan fan proves to be a sensitive storyteller in "Lilly says", a piece with a self-deprecating conclusion: "Lilly says she doesn’t believe in coincidence / and that every idiot talks about fate / she never liked one of my songs / I think she doesn’t like this one either." None of the ten pieces in total comes close to the self-pity that is currently so widespread in German songwriter pop, the sometimes exhausting cryptic of "Hamburg School" Prose also ignores Blumfeld and Tocotronic. The closest are prose – also vocally – unconventional quality songwriters like Gisbert zu Knyphausen, Niels Frevert, Felix Meyer and Moritz Krämer.

Some new songs are "before Corona" emerged, others in the middle, reports the musician on his website. "Such an incision always gives room for change. My writing has also changed due to the pandemic, because the topic was really present, almost an attitude towards life." The piano ballad "From angel to angel" was created at the suggestion of a crowdfunding supporter who wanted a song to deal with the death of his mother. "When I played the first recording on his cell phone, he went to her grave and played it there. That touched me very deeply."

Even though "Greetings from the flood" is a kind of lockdown album, nothing here sounds like a musician’s home office or eat-in kitchen. Pascal El Sauaf’s production is multi-layered: Mellotron, strings and winds accompany Max Prosa’s hauntingly rough vocals and his guitar from case to case. By the way, music is not even the 30-year-old’s only talent: since 2018 he has published volumes of lyrics with poetry, songs and stories, wrote his first play in which he played himself – and in 2021 Max is to stage prose at the Deutsche Oper in Berlin .

Bielefeld (dpa / tmn) – Actually, the big appearance shouldn’t be a problem. The manuscript is ready, the topic is in place – and yet panic arises just before it starts. Many people know stage fright before an important lecture.

Sometimes it is not just a flutter of nerves – there are also outbreaks of sweats, racing heart, tremors, the feeling of mental paralysis. For some people, such situations are part of everyday life: internal blockages that prevent them from successfully mastering something.

"Such blockages set in automatically and run off in the subconscious", says Ute Gietzen-Wieland, business and mental coach in Bielefeld. In principle, there are anxiety states that can occur at very different moments. There is exam anxiety, for example. The fear of flying. Or the spotlight stress. The result: those affected remain far below their possibilities.

"Taking anti-anxiety medication before a performance or an exam does not solve the problem"says Bernhard Tille, coach in Bad Homburg. And simply avoiding critical situations is often not possible – and certainly no solution. "Rather, it is important to recognize how blockages arise and where they come from", so Tille.

Where does the fear come from?

As a very first step, everyone can do this for themselves: sit down and write down what you are feeling in a particular situation. What exactly you are afraid of. Not to please others? To be laughed at by others? "The causes of internal blockages can often be found in an unprocessed experience in childhood", explains Cora Besser-Siegmund, a qualified psychologist and psychotherapist in Hamburg. This can be so stressful or even traumatic that it has firmly established itself in the subconscious – and blocks those affected decades later.

Besser-Siegmund gives an example: A successful pianist had a blackout during a concert – in the middle of the game she simply stopped. Through coaching, she tracked down the cause: The blackout started at the moment when she played so-called forte passages for a longer period, i.e. particularly loud tones. This reminded the woman subconsciously of an argument she had as a girl with her father – who was a shift worker and wanted to sleep while his daughter played the piano.

Internal blockages, however, also arise through negative thinking: those affected are then firmly convinced that they cannot do something. The fear of failure becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.

How can such blockages be resolved?

"In many cases, coaching helps"says Tille. Sometimes, however, therapy is also necessary, such as cognitive behavioral therapy. Together with a therapist, a client reveals negative thoughts that are dormant in the subconscious and counteracts them with new, positive thoughts.

Special breathing techniques can also provide relaxation in stressful moments. Another remedy for blockages is the so-called wingwave method. "This special coaching tries to tackle stress in the place where it comes from, namely in the brain, more precisely in the limbic system"says Gietzen-Wieland. At the beginning the client describes the situation in which the inner blockage arises. Then stress triggers and lagging emotions are identified with a test. The coach then exposes the problem. He now consciously puts his client in a state of inner blockage – and then begins mental training.

Regain confidence

"The brain, which is divided into a logical and an emotional half, is networked through the exercises", explains Besser-Siegmund. This makes it clear to someone who is – emotionally – afraid of the limelight, that their fear is completely unfounded, because – logically: they know that they can do whatever they want to show. "For coaching using the Wingwave method, three to five one-hour sessions are usually required", says Besser-Siegmund.

If you have an internal blockage, you shouldn’t wait too long to address the problem. "The sooner you face it, the better", says Gietzen-Wieland. Because blockages slow down life energy – with negative consequences for your own wellbeing.

"The SPD has become more left than the Left Party and more ecological than the Greens. I am sure that the majority of the members reject this development"said the former Vice Chancellor "Cologne city indicator" (Saturday).

The course of the SPD has become more and more unclear in recent years. "In the end, formula compromises are crafted in which everyone can identify." The concept of the SPD, itself "how to organize a holding of minority interests", failed.

Corona crisis: 22,771 new corona infections reported in Germany

On Friday, according to the newspaper, Gabriel was in motion "SPDpur" who wants to stop the party’s left-wing course. "I support the course of "SPDpur"because people come together here who want to create clarity again about what social democracy actually means", he said.

The concentration of group and minority issues has led to the SPD losing sight of its actual electorate, added Gabriel. "The broad stratum of motivated workers felt that they were in good hands in the SPD for a long time. To many people today this idea seems to have degenerated into a social welfare state in which the individual can live without any particular effort." Gabriel said at the same time that he was not available for a new candidacy for the federal presidency.
